Summer is quickly approaching and I will no longer be blogging. However, I have come up with a few fun things for you all to try out.
The first one I recommend is going to your local Home Depot and taking one of their classes. These classes are taught by a professional and they take you through step-by-step directions of how to complete whatever project they are doing that day.
They tackle all sorts of things during these demonstrations. Whether it be how to install handles into a cabinet or how to refinish hardwood floors, there is always something for you to learn. And the best part? They’re free!
Another great event to go to is Hobby Lobby.
Much like Home Depot, Hobby Lobby has free DIY classes. However these are bit different because they take more of a crafting approach instead of a fixer upper approach.
The instructor is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! All you have to do is call your local Hobby Lobby and ask when the next class is.
These two events happen at least, if not more than, once a month. It is sure to give you something to do over the summer and will also provide great information for the next time you decide to do a DIY project outside of the class.
